Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to work. Under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), which implements the EU ePrivacy rules, they do not require consent.
- Age check (covmod_majeur): keeps your confirmation that you are 18 or over, so that you are not asked again on every visit; 6 months. It meets the obligation to restrict access by minors.
- Language (covmod_locale): remembers which version of the site you chose or were sent to (France, UK, or US), so you are not redirected again on your next visit; 12 months.
- Consent choice (covmod_consentement): remembers whether you accepted or declined Google Analytics, so that you are not asked on every page; 6 months.
- These are the only cookies set by this site itself. Google Analytics, described below, adds its own only if you accept. Our own audience measurement uses no cookie but writes two identifiers to your browser storage.
Audience measurement
We measure how the site is used ourselves, with no third-party tool and no cookie, to see which pages and profiles people look at and to improve the service. We record pages viewed, time spent and how far you scroll on each page, profiles and posts viewed, clicks on call buttons, likes, video plays and filters used, plus where the visit came from (referring site, campaign), device type, browser, operating system, browser language and time zone, and country, supplied by our host.
Two random identifiers are written to your browser storage: one to recognise a return visit (covmod_vid, 13 months at most, never extended) and one to group the pages of a single visit (covmod_sid, cleared when the tab closes). They contain nothing about you. Your IP address is never stored, this data is not sold, shared or combined with anything else, and it is deleted after 25 months.
Because it is limited to our own use, this measurement is exempt from consent under the conditions set by the French data protection authority (CNIL). You can object at any time: your browser's Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting is honoured, and the button below stops it on this device.
Google Analytics, with your consent
If you click Accept in the banner, we load Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to count visits, pages viewed, clicks on call buttons and where visitors come from. Nothing is loaded from Google until you accept, and declining changes nothing about your visit.
Google then sets the _ga and _ga_<id> cookies, kept for 13 months, and receives information about your browsing and your device. This data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Google also processes it for its own purposes, described in its privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Your choice is kept for 6 months. You can change it at any time with the button below: declining turns Google Analytics off and deletes its cookies.
No advertising trackers
No advertising cookies, social media pixels or retargeting tools are used on this site. The links to our social media accounts are plain outbound links: nothing is loaded from those platforms unless you click.
Your browser settings
You can delete cookies, or block them, at any time in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop some features of the site from working properly.
